New York Based Brazilian Composer Joao MacDowell teamed up with Nina Smart to create the first transcultural Opera that presents a contemporary FGM story in this unique art form
The first recital was in mid November, 2024 in New York City
The second recital with readings from the book – March,2025 at the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York City together with IBOC
